TODDLERS & PRESCHOOL
More learning occurs during a child’s first five years than any other time in his or her life. In addition to serving as a trusted childcare provider, we view ourselves as a partner—working closely with parents to enhance and expand your child’s early learning experiences and promote healthy child development. Full- and part-time enrollment options are available for the age groups described below.
Toddlers (Ages 18 months – 3)
Toddlers are encouraged to build cognitive, language, motor and social skills through daily play and activities with caregivers. In small groups, our teachers help toddlers explore the sights and sounds around them. Children are encouraged to learn at their own pace. Our teachers help toddlers feel secure in their new environment by utilizing a predictable schedule which helps the children develop trust in our teachers.
Preschool (Ages 3 – 4)
In an environment encouraging positive self-esteem, preschoolers build social and emotional skills, cognitive development, language skills and physical development. The most important goals of our preschool program are for children to learn to get along with others and become enthusiastic learners. Our teachers help children become more independent and secure while they learn to work well with others.
Pre-Kindergarten (Ages 4 – 5)
Through books, music, computer lessons, and other stimulating activities, these early learners are prepared for a more structured school environment that awaits in kindergarten. Through a unique partnership with the Saucon Valley School District, kindergarten teachers visit our Pre-K classrooms and present sample lessons to the children to help ease the transition from Pre-K to Kindergarten.
